But first and foremost, DJ understands media sales!  He has extensive experience with national media companies and is a recognized industry leader in the area of media sales management, advertising sales growth and media CRM.

DJ joined Matrix Solutions in 2000, after being an early user and advocate of Matrix. Prior to joining Matrix Solutions, DJ spent many years in broadcast management, spanning both television and radio. At CBS owned and operated KDKA-TV, DJ developed sales strategies, directed the local sales team, managed special NTR projects like the nationally renowned For Kids Sake campaign and negotiated pre-season NFL broadcast rights. During his sales management tenure, KDKA-TV experienced double-digit growth each year. As Director of Sales at Infinity Radio, DJ managed a diverse sales team and lead the converged selling process where he was instrumental in developing the sales strategy program for four Pittsburgh radio stations.

DJ holds a B.A. in Communications from the University of Pittsburgh, where he was a quarterback on the Panther football team from 1980-1984.  As DJ likes to joke - "if I had only pushed myself a little harder, we'd all be asking who is Dan Marino?" (Pitt's starting quarterback during DJ's years.)

DJ lives in Wexford, PA with his wife Jeannine and their three children Dan, Morgan and Mackenzie.
